That feature was removed back when PS3 was released.

I don't follow the console wars since 2002 or so, if i get to play games from this era is because one of my friends has it.. somehow nintendo always managed to deliver this feature, i don't know if Switch has it.. but Wii U was at least compatible with the most popular games from Wii.

RE: PS5

Oof it was? I guess I didn't follow the features of those consoles too well. That really sucks though as in this era of noatalgia you would think that would be a no brainer.

When i bought my Ps3 i bought some games that i haven't played from the PS2 (Some spinoff Resident Evil games) and the console couldn't read them :(

It seems that most people consider if their console can reach 60fps or be able to play their games in 4K. I'm okay with games like The Binding of Isaac.

RE: PS5

Its a shame the past is being so heavily ignored. Even the ps classic was lame.

You can get most of the old games through PC platforms like Steam or Origin. The Remakes market are getting a lot of noise too!

RE: PS5

I don't 1@KFPGOD[/uSER] but I did get the Series X. I've been having fun with that. Much faster I will at least say that. Still don't feel like it was a huge upgrade from the One X as far as graphics or worth $500. So many people had trouble getting a PS5 around christmas. Stock was so low. I snagged my Series X on pure luck.

RE: PS5

Managed to bag a pre-order from Amazon so I was lucky enough to get my hands on the PS5 when it launched. Been playing it ever since and I really do love it especially when you get to experience the games that have been built for the PS5. Spider-man: Miles Morales was great and Astro's Playroom was quite fun as well with all the controller haptics.

That's a shame. It appears they are trying to milk every penny they can from the consumer. Same with Xbox and their new Series X. I assume what's going on here is they are selling mass quantities to corporate buyers and then leaving retailers like Walmart high and dry. I have seen Walmart with Series X stock though. I got mine from Microsoft.com but for the PS5 it appears most are seeing luck with that retailer. For Xbox, I actually had it in my cart and went to buy before it ran out again. Was one of the luckier customers sometime around last Christmas. I clicked buy over and over again and somehow it went through the system.

PS5 is probably luckiest with buying one from Walmart. I hear sometimes the websites stock isn't even accurate because they save several for walk-ins - You may want to try that.

I'm not even bothered about getting Playstation 5 or whether it's out of stock because I can't simply afford it right now.

It's true what you mentioned about how expensive Playstation 5 is currently and it's most likely the reason why a lot of people are yet to purchase the console.

If it's possible to get Playstation 5 in second hand value, then it would be cheaper but it's not possible to get that now.

There is no way it's going to be possible for now. The PS5 console is still very new in the market with increasing demand for it on daily basis.
