When income is limited and prices are rising, budgeting becomes your tool for survival. Every bucks you make or spend needs to have a purpose, whether that’s for paying off debt, investing, saving for emergencies, or spending on essential. When you do budgeting, you will be able to track your spending, have financial control, and reach your financial goal whether it is savings, investments, debt repayment, or big purchases.

If I had an income then I would budget unless I was filthy rich but still wouldn't blow the money even if I was rich. The fact that budgeting is something a lot of people do and it's a very smart thing to do. That much I can say definitely. Even the United States government has to budget or the money will go to waste. Seeing DOGE and Elon Musk trying to cut down expenses. Those are just examples.

The trick is my husband and I don't leave beyond our means. We don't spend more money that we have. My hubby can just about pay the bills on his own with his job but like he said.......we'd have enough money to pay bills and eat. There wouldn't be any room to do any fun stuff or have any extra spending money. So that's where my paycheck comes in. We can pay bills with my hubby's paycheck while my paycheck covers any surprises that pop up and gives us the freedom to do fun stuff when we're not at work.
