All I know is 32GB RAM & SSD storage

16 GB is enough for almost everything unless you run something like engineering or architecture software or render videos.

My current build is

Ryzen 5 3600x clocked to 4.3 GHz

Corsair 2x8 3000MhZ DDR4

GTX 1660 super

NVME 500GB

This is the base for a budget pc and can pull off everything up to 1080p.

Yeah, I know 16 GB is fine but I'd like to make it slightly overkill.

Wait for Ryzen 5000 to hit the market with a RTX 3080. You can get a x570 board for now, get 16x2 GB sticks, won't work with double-dual channels

Also AIO Liquid Coolers or a Noctua fan, the Wraith Prism is not enough (the ones that come as a cooler stock)
