Dude they shut down the APIs like 3 years ago and they release the official app now and in "beta" version just to make sure they don't mess up this time.. sure they took their time.

I don't know why they haven't put the app in TestFlight on iOS since they said it's a beta. I think the UI needs to be improved and the manga list added to the app.

I don't know how the apps in iOS work but what i can tell is that they hired third party coders to set this one back because other sites like anilist are becoming more and more popular, not even the group forums are keeping the people there.

Despite all that i still prefer MAL over other platforms.

At this point I still use MAL because I joined in 2013 or 2014, so I am just used to that.
