The video is mine, however I put a lot of research into it, and it actually got featured by guilded themselves. Guilded is the next big thing in my opinion. It's like discord, however it's far from just a clone. Yes it looks similar but they have far more features built into the core program. Built in Forums, Calendars where you can set events, others can RSVP to the events and more. They have scheduling, check lists, etc. It's honestly such an amazing program that I can see it taking over forums completely over time. On top of all of this, they have a built in Patreon styled feature where people can donate up to three tiers and get rewards for doing it all listed and created by the server owner. They also take significantly less percentage than patreon does as well. It's truly an all in one system, and if you haven't checked it out already I higher recommend looking into it.

https://www.guilded.gg?r=rdOrzD34 is how to join Guilded

Not to self promote further, but if you're looking to see how all the features work and what they look like you can visit my server: https://www.guilded.gg/i/VEvA50Mp

RE: Guilded - The top competitor for Discord

I've recently just closed my Discord server as it wasn't really being used, and it kinda makes sense to just keep the activity on the forums.

That being said, I may look into Guilded in the future - but it won't be any time soon.. :coffee:

I'm just used to discord but I like the way guilded works from the way you describe it. I have yet to give it a try and probably won't right away. It seems likes it's more directed towards gaming so if they become more popular I may try it out.

I also wrote up an article about Guilded. Both myself and 1@Xyphien are guilded partners, but my article was written before my partnership was accepted. You can read that article http://Here.

Interesting article and thanks for the share. I may check it out at some point. Guilded is a good name they chose for it. It will probably be the popularity factor that will decide whether or not I partake in downloading it.

It does look good, at this rate not only will it hit discord hard, but it may very well put a huge nail into the already struggling forums.

I do agree it could hurt forums in the long run, buuuut you could essentially turn your forum into a guilded server which, make everything public like a forum and direct your domain over to your guilded server (which everyone gets a unique url). There's subs so you also get paid a lot easier doing it that way on top of everything else you can make from it.
Also, just wanted to also post this too! They sent me some free merch!!!

The images are too large to put up here, so instead take the link lol

RE: Guilded - The top competitor for Discord

I myself have an account and also I myself copied my Discord server over to guiled :p and it was simple and easy. Thanks to 1@Xyphien great videos that he does on his YouTube :)

However, it's not as big as Discord and still uses discord. Since most people that I talk and be with are all on DIscord and if I need to move over to guilded then most people would need to move over also. I do like the options they offer but I say it's just not ready for me to move over, not since it doesn't offer what I want, it's other people who not wanted to move over with me :p

I'm also still talking to people that hasn't even hard about Guilded LOL and they are like Mehhhhhh
