GTA Modding & modifications

Have anyone here or maybe you heard about it or maybe your mates have done GTA modding in the past. At least get this off the book first that you can modify the default game of any GTA series since the very early days of the greatest GTAIV back in 2012 and till this day people are playing as a cop or whatever they wanted to be in rather Singleplayer or in multiplayer with FiveM servers 

Has anyone made mods for the game?

Anyone even played with mods and installed them

No I stopped modding since Halo 2 and when it was most popular with Dothalo and different softmods. I used FlashFXP and Unleash X soft mods. I learned how to bridge host and even did boosting parties but I was only 12 years old so that was back when I was a youth. I really only did that when I was 12 but I'm a huge member of Se7ensins.com and even though I don't mod I used to post there a lot. My name on there is B-rad and I was a member since 2007.
