I have been trying to use alternative forum software instead of sticking with mybb and phpbb. So I managed to download and run installer for the flarum recently. I wonder how many people find some value out of the software like flarum.

Do you like forum software such as flarum?

RE: Flarum

For a free software, I hear it's not quite that bad. I have seen good reviews for it though I'm not too fond of there not being sections and only recent threads. I know that Flarum or at least I believe that Sublime Text uses it on their site. I'm not entirely positive but after looking it up, I believe so.

RE: Flarum

I heard of Flarum but haven't seen it in years. It looks alright last time I saw it.

RE: Flarum

If I could get my head wrapped around the idea of threads being always on the index, I would potentially use it. The biggest thing I want out of forums, is a node system that separates everything. I feel like it could be a contender for people wanting to draw bloggers over, as it is basically an imitation of a standard blog index, if the blog just lists article titles, and not the short descriptions.

RE: Flarum

I have no experience with flarum as I heard f this free forum software recently. If you are looking for a free forum software and want to try your hands on forum software other than mybb and phpbb, I think you need to try SMF. I have tried this and it is very good free forum software.
