I don't really bother with starters other than Poppadoms. Occasionally I'll get some Chicken Pakoras if the mood takes..
Curry, I tend to stick with Bhuna, Tikka Masala, or Saag. I've had Madras and Vindaloo in the past, but don't really get enough flavour beyond the heat to make them enjoyable.
Hot steamed Idlys with sambhar and variety of chutney is my favourite anytime. I wonder how many have tasted Vada Paav, Paav Bhaji, Ragada Pattis, Misal Paav..these are all mouthwatering street foods which I try never to miss whenever available. Maybe a bit spicy to be comfortable, but nothing to beat the taste.
