Ed and Lorraine Warren

Anyone ever heard of these 2?

They are famous demonologist that have dealt with some of the most paranormal areas on the planet. They have gone into countless homes and areas known to be haunted to catch recordings of spiritual activity and try and detect the presence of anything that might be in the vicinity. They use advanced techniques such as EVP (electronic voice phenomena) and channeling. Also have been known to use the technique with the 2 long sticks that they move together and believe when these 2 objects come together there may be activity. Anyone familiar with them?

I've heard of them. They did a documentary on them here not that long ago. Did you get the chance to watch it?

I did. I thought it was kind of interesting. In the documentary, it talks about how they are considered the "grandparents" of the paranormal world.

I watch the history channel a lot but haven't seen it. Wondering if it came on the travel channel. I actually haven't seen much about them on TV for a while but yes they have dealt with quite a bit of experiences in the past. Some of which has changed their lives forever. Demon possession is one thing they've dealt with.

I kind of believe the couple. They must have had their set of the encounters which they can't explain. And at this point I am sure they have no need to explain it to anyone. I guess their experience can teach us what could be out there that we don't know.

I have watched all the movies based on their experiences.  It is kind of spine chilling to watch.  Can imagine what it  would have been to be there in person and experience such paranormal activity.

I have read that The Warrens' case files was the basis for The Conjuring Universe series of horror films. Movie, The Conjuring released in the year 2013 and directed by James Wan, spotlights a Warren case and stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren. But I am yet to see their documentary, which should be really interesting.
