Growing up, I watched my mother, just a homemaker with no income of her own, consistently save from the money she received from father to buy groceries and manage household expenses. Over time, her regular savings added up to a significant amount, she finances big purchases like buying a new TV or even paying her kid’s college fees.

But there was one missing piece: investment. Without investing, her savings didn’t grow beyond the principal amount.

Well, you need to start saving early, but also learn to invest wisely. Invest early for long-term financial growth.
 
If I had an income at all then I definitely would save some money and put it aside. Even small amounts will pay off over time. My grandfather who died when he was 90 would save pennies and change and even that where you may get a few hundred dollars from coin star can be worth it sometimes.
