Between 2013-2018, I was very active on Upwork. I built a lot of sites for Upwork clients. Once, a client refused to accept a site that I primarily built for him. I decided to put the site on sale on flippa. I was able to sell it for $150. That was in 2018. Since then I have sold over 15 websites for $150-$1500. The last website I sold on flippa fetched $600.

Do you build websites to sell? Have you ever sold any website?

I never really thought about making sites and then selling them fully. I have seen people do it as a real business however I find that you need funds to able to do it unless you are able to code the site fully under your self-esteem yourself. Takes time and money and maybe good end results if you are able to find a client to pay for your site to take ownership.

I just stick to a couble that I want to run myself

Considering it fetches a pretty penny I thought about trying it but never have. I may invest time into this because I have made templates before. I am very good at CSS and HTML. I have pretty much fundamentally concerned mastered it. I thought about selling templates on themeforest with the envato market which is an excellent way to make a living. I just never tried it.

No. But if someone offers a price I can't refuse for one of my babies, then I might go through with it.

I have. But mainly because I didn't have the time or motivation to keep them updated or manage them further.

I don't do coding. I use content management systems, mainly wordpress, to build websites. I use plugins to customize sites.  I not only build blogs, but even discussion boards and ecommerce sites on wordpress. When I am building websites in order to sell, I use free resources to minimize my cost.

It would be cool to get into that hobby.  Nonetheless, I think it would be hard to find a market from what I could do.  Well, I could build up some mobile friendly forums on free forum software.   However, could I make and sell enough to even get $500 a month?  I don't think that's possible on ForumPromotion.net at least.

Tremendous of you developing websites and flipping them for profit. I never developed one before and flipped for profit. That's something I'll look into the future to utilize, but I wouldn't sell all websites I'll be developing. Keeping some will yield me profit passively with time when it starts getting rapid traffic with quality contents.
