Do you prefer to own digital/online copies of your games or hard copies?

I don't buy hard copies anymore. All my games are on my PSN account. I prefer to buy my games online, and have them saved to my account.

I used to have hard copies and fancied building up a collection but being able to start the game without having to change discs was a huge plus.

Now I can't believe the nerve of some people to make all digital consoles almost to rip the customer off. You definitely prefer digital just like I do, heck we all do, but when your paying between $400-550 after tax they should provide at least provide a disc drive.

That's why I got the Xbox Series X instead of S.

Personally, I'm a bit torn on this one. There's something nostalgic and satisfying about having physical copies of games, being able to hold them in your hands and display them on a shelf. But then again, digital copies offer so much convenience, especially when you just want to jump into a game without worrying about swapping discs or cartridges. I guess it really depends on the game and the situation for me.

Just like others have stated here, I used to own lots of hard copies of games but I've gone the digital route over the past decade. The reason being, I don't have a lot of space to store games at my place, and if that hard copy gets a scratch or something, it could render the game useless. Mind you, digital copies of games comes with its own set of cons like when the developer decides to stop supporting it, you'll lose access to that game.

I just like the soft copies of games because of how easy it is to play more games without having to change from a disc to another. That ease is a big factor that I consider most of the times when buying new games.

Digital for sure, I hate changing games and I always end up selling the hard copy of a game and regret it later. And having a game digital prevents me from selling it.

I was always buying hard copies of games but since digital has become more popular, I now tend to buy all my games digital and find having a collection digitally is a better option for me.
