The problem with this thing is that the Covid-19 simply isn't powerful enough to do the job.   In that case, some theorists are being foolish, and I can see why many people laugh them off.   Anyway, it is true certain elites do want depopulation.   However, aside from nuclear war, there are no ways to reduce the world's population to what they see as an ideal number.

No because there's room to fit them. The earth is a big place. It's unlikely anyone would be purposely trying to decrease the population. You'd be surprised how big earth is. The reason why people flock to large cities are for job opportunities. The majority of what's going on here is the opportunities are too big but iowa for instance where many tornadoes are have less population but huge with barely anyone in it. If it got to the point where it was needed then iowa wouldn't be like that and more cities with large infrastructures would be paid for and placed in all areas of the United States.

Their is no way anyone can think so foolish to come up with decreasing the world population. The population of the earth will keep growing big, that's the main purpose while the earth and humans was created in the first place.

I seriously doubt these discussions about depopulation. As rightly pointed out, if this was the case, there are many other ways to achieve without spending any government funds on it. Yes, it's bizzare and foolish to think on those lines. As it is, life expectancy is decreasing the world over. Global warming, climate change are other serious issues, which if not handled urgently, probably will wipe out all living species, including humans from earth. I believe Covid was an experiment meant to be used as a weapon which probably went out of control soon after the news leaked out from the origin country. Nothing more to be seen in this.

I think we do have certain Thanos kind of people on Earth, who think that to save our planet the population has to reduced and they are trying their best to snap their fingers.  There could be some element to these theories.  History has witnessed people committing genocide and trying to eradicate a whole race.
