Does anyone still use delphi for programming? I know it used to be amazing in it's prime days and since then we've seen the rise of better programming languages. Curious to know if anyone still uses delphi and why when there's so much modern languages like C++. Delphi was difficult to write in.

RE: Delphi

I remember one of my school senior used to make small apps with the delphi. I am not sure how much is this language updated or how muchn their development still exists. But it looks like something worth trying I suppose for hobby.

It's awful to use now. We have better programming languages and delphi is just way too outdated and a hassle to even learn or code in. Too many issues.

RE: Delphi

I remember the software, but never had the chance to use it. We moved when I was in school, and the school I ended up in, did not have a programming class at the time. Lack of funding and space. Honestly, the school now might be offering it, as they now have the computer labs separate from the rest of the school. Looks like 5 classrooms now, compared to just the 1.
