Both Crunchyroll & FUNimation are terrible. If you live outside of the US, then there is a good chance the show you want to watch is region locked

I recall Funimation is partly responsible for Fullmetal Alchemist so maybe not so bad. Just saw this thread.

Both Crunchyroll & FUNimation are terrible. If you live outside of the US, then there is a good chance the show you want to watch is region locked

The same goes for netflix. Thing is most series aren't licensed in some regions and that's why. You can always get to watch your fav shows anyway. I use AniDex and Nyaa to get my series.

My fav subs are HorribleSubs! it's a shame that they don't work on most series i'm interested. I use alternative servers like AnimeFLV too sometimes (to watch One Piece ie.)

I mean, i love anime but i'm totally against paying for just watching one piece (which i can actually watch it for free in CR), i paid for almost 3 years to watch no more than 100 chapters. I'd rather pay for what i watch (i actually do it using amazon videos).

It's just my point of view, obviously supporting the studios are good but remember that only a few bucks are for the actual anime studios.

Yeah. For a couple of months it got had to watch anime because streaming sites had gone wack which left only Crunchyroll. That said, as of late, I’m watching more dubbed anime. And there is more dubbed anime that I have access to watch not on crunchyroll or funimation

That happened to sites that CtrlCCtrlV'ed CR's work only. In the latin america community was a huge shock as well since most sites used CR's stuff as well (easiest way, no Sub work or even coding at all)

Shueisha released an app to read manga, i don't know about its subscription but it's not an official way to read manga with quality translation!
