I been a gamer since I was a little kid, and the creation for video games really helped keep my imagination nested. When Atari came out, that was a new level of genius and fun that a little kid can imagine. The graphics back then were amazing, especially in that time period. I remember seeing pixelated Mario jumping over barrels and trying to rescue his princess in Donkey Kong. I remember classics like Combat. Pong, Pitfall and of course Pac Man! Pac Man, omg was genius and I really enjoyed it back then and to this very day I still enjoy it. Atari opened the door to what we have now in modern gaming and I am glad to have the memory and experience in playing it!

RE: Atari was the bomb!

The closest I've personally been to Atari since I'm only 27 is the little self-playing Power Rangers mini-games when I was a kid. That was sort of even worse than Atari at this age and time. Little pixels that move around. But yeah Atari was a big deal when it came out. My stepdad used to have one but I personally have never used one.

Yea Tiger had many games, including Disney Series like DarkWing Duck and other games like that. Bad graphics nowadays but good back then. It is what inspired Gameboy and other handhelds to take off :)

I definitely have played gameboy color though. I still own one. I grew up on pokemon red and blue and my favorite was gold and silver which was an absolute blast back then. Something I really enjoyed.

Dude.. Pokemon, that was addicting. I loved it, and would spend hours playing. My kids love Pokemon to this day.

Personally, I prefer the arcade version, simply because the Atari 2600 version had issues that weren't present in the original.
