RE: Where do you usually buy or read your books?
Just to add to my earlier comment.....
When my hubby and I go out of town somewhere, I've been known to stop at a bookstore there for some shopping.
RE: Area 51
I believe it's a real place. We may not know exactly what is going on down there and I doubt you'll find out. My hubby was watching a show about this recently. Even the people that work there.....each person doesn't know what the next person does. They have their job and that's...
What is your favorite board game or card game?
Mine was always Clue. Now they have a Harry Potter version of Clue that I wouldn't mind having. I wish they'd have had that when I was a kid.
RE: Fun or learning?
I am normally reading for fun. Reading is something I do to relax when I get home from work. If I've had a long hard day at work, I can read which allows me to escape the stress I've went through that day.
RE: Do you smoke?
My hubby and I don't smoke. I am on my hubby's insurance and have been since we have gotten married (his work offers heath insurance; they pay for his insurance, he just has to pay for mine). Anyway, our insurance is cheaper because neither one of us smoke. They have higher...
RE: What's romantic?
Back in February, when it snowed a bunch over the course of a week, my hubby came to my work and changed my flat tire for me while I was working. When my hubby does nice things like that to help me, that what I'm talking about.
Have you ever gotten in trouble for reading? For example, have you ever gotten into trouble at school/work because you were reading instead of doing your work? How much trouble did you get into?
Do you read for pleasure or do you read to learn things?
If you read for fun, what are some of your favorite books?
If you read for learning, what specific thing are you trying to learn?
RE: People that don't listen to or appreciate new music?
My hubby and I are always coming across new music.
I normally find it on Youtube.
My hubby will find it when he is listening to music on his satellite radio.
There's this Mexican restaurant that I like to go to when I want to get some Street Tacos. But I was looking for ways to make it at home. Does anyone know how to make some good street tacos? If so, would you be willing to share? Please!
Just to be clear, the recipe I found is for carne...
RE: TV shows or movies turned into books?
I thought the Harry Potter movies were pretty decent. I know they can't put every little thing from the books into the movie, otherwise the movie would be 14 hours long and who would want to sit through that. My hubby will sit through a movie because...
RE: The longest book you have ever read?
I've started reading the Game of Thrones series. I think those are the longest books for me, so far.
(I haven't finished reading all of them yet so please don't spoil anything for me, please and thank you)
RE: Young Adult Books
If you like romance, you can try "The Wolves of Mercy Falls" series by Maggie Stiefvater or the "Crave" series by Tracy Wolff.
I'll let you know later if I think of anything else.
RE: Do you prefer physical books or e-books?
I normally use my Kindle when I'm traveling. It allows me to bring along a lot of literature to read without taking up a lot of space in my carry-on.
The rest of the time, I'm normally reading the actual physical book. I like the smell of books as...
RE: Favorite social Media?
Facebook and Twitter.
I like using my Facebook, personally. It allows me to keep up with my friends and family members a little better. You can see what they're doing or what they're up to.
I like using Twitter when it comes to advertising for a site or business.
