RE: Emulators............. Emulators aren't because they don't violate any law, ROMs violate copyright laws. So while it doesn't make sense to use emulators without ROMs, it is legal. Just like it islegal to have an empty beer bottle if you're under 16 but not have alcohol. ROMs are the files...

RE: Emulators............. technically speaking emulators are illegal considering all games are free to download, but yeah you can get super mario, mario cart, all the pokemons, and pretty much anything else. you just gotta get the right emulator, weather you want gameboy or DS or any other...
