  • Considering buying my favourite books

I am considering buy my favourite books in physical hardback condition but the I don’t actually think I’d read them again. They would probably just end up getting dusty on a shelf

That said, I was also considering doing the same with my favourite manga, which at one point I did, and it collected dust.

RE: Considering buying my favourite books

I would love to buy some of Orson Scott Card's books in hardback form. The Enders Game Series I loved reading, and would read them on occasion, if I had them as hardbacks.

RE: Considering buying my favourite books

Until few years ago, I bought books not just to read but as a collection. I liked collecting books. Back then I had 2000 books in my collections. It has been many years since I bought any physical books.

If you don't intend to read, it's best not to buy them. But for avid book readers like me, I will be a thrilled if I can afford to buy all the hardback titles of my favourite authors and spend my leisure hours immersed in their writings. Books, certainly are not for decorative purpose as is displayed in many homes.
