  • Call of Duty Display Name

Ok, so my original display name was "Scheibe", I later changed it to something else thinking that you can change your name once every 2 weeks. So after so long I can finally change my display name. Problem is, "Scheibe" is now considered profanity. :/

So since I only play CoD & Overwatch, my only options are:

    • make a new PlayStation account; or
    • use the free name change and change my PlayStation name.

I have some achievements on Overwatch I can't get again because of an update that made it impossible. I have also 100% CoD 4 remaster campaign.

Eventually, when I have enough money for it, I would like to get a custom PC just for gaming. But I know nothing when it comes to pc building and such.

RE: Call of Duty Display Name

I never saw this thread. How is Scheibe considered profanity. It's interesting the profanity filters that they use. I do realize after the riots modern warfare went hardcore on display names to ensure no mis-use.

My PlayStation name was meant to be the word Scheiße but because that "b" isn't latin, I couldn't have it.

Scheiße in German means "crap/shit" but Scheibe translated from German to English means disc. So since I didn't have that B, my name just meant disc.
