    YouTubers barely trend on the trending tab

    Why can’t Youtubers be trending on YouTube’s trending tab?

    It's because trending on YouTube isn't organic any more and third party companies/ TV shows as well as more family friendly orientated YouTubers are being pushed to maximise the ad-revenue profited from these videos.

        The trending tab works based on time spent on the particular video.  Songs and movies do work well on youtube, so it gets featured in Trending. Eventually, other content doesn't get featured in trending.
