    Multiple explosions hit three churches and three hotels this morning in and around the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo amid Easter celebrations, police said Sunday. More than 150 people have been killed and over 300 injured in a string of explosions, according to initial reports. The Sri Lanka blasts hit three high-end hotels and one church in the capital, while two churches were targeted outside Colombo, police said.

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack on the hotels and churches on Easter and said such "barbarism has no place in the region". "Strongly condemn the horrific blasts in Sri Lanka. There is no place for such barbarism in our region. India stands in solidarity with the people of Sri Lanka. My thoughts are with the bereaved families and prayers with the injured," PM Modi tweeted.

    Was this related to the terrorist group Isis? That's terrible. It's unfortunate I wake up today having to hear this. I'm a bit saddened and at a loss for words. Why are people targeting churches.... that's the saddest part about it.

        In my opinion, churches get targeted to show the power and relentlessness of the terrorists, as they don't care about the sacredness of churches. So far, no terrorist group is known, so it could be ISIS but I haven't heard of them doing any attacks in ages.
