"The surviving members of Static-X intend on honoring the legacy of their classic breakout album, Wisconsin Death Trip, by https://=68.ARDWGZyqsJrKaXHNNpDMGtgc... from the disc while on tour this summer. Static-X will co-headline the tour with DevilDriver, and they've invited fellow hard rocking vets Dope to provide support.

Bassist Tony Campos, drummer Ken Jay and guitarist Koichi Fukuda will also use the show as a way to honor late frontman Wayne Static. Campos says in a statement, "Our intention is to pay ultimate respect to Wayne and to celebrate the music that has been in all of our hearts for more than 20 years. It's all about channeling the vibe from 1999 to the best of our ability and playing those classic Static-X songs live and loud with the fans."

"Rehearsals have been awesome," adds Fukuda. "The music and the vocals are sounding really great! I feel like Wayne would be proud."

"We understand that people are naturally going to want to know more about who is singing," says Jay. "We have discussed this at great length and we came to the conclusion that at this time, it would be inappropriate for us to put the focus on anyone other than Wayne, Tony, Koichi and myself. This feels like the best way for us to celebrate Wayne's legacy, along with the 20th anniversary of 'Wisconsin Death Trip', with all of our fans."

RE: Static-X Official 20th Anniversary Wisconsin Death Trip World Tour

Yeah they seem to have some great music by the look of the video. I'm into metal and rock but this is the first I've heard of them. All of them seem to appear as completely different individuals. It's amazing how some people can come together in such a common fashion for music. I wish them the best on their tour.
