    Setting up a reputation bar instead of stars sometime tonight

    Hey guys quick update. Someone made me an add-on for free for the reputation. They included a progress bar. It looks nice and is actually animated so it's going to play nicely with the forum. I intend to add this sometime tonight. Will be re-doing the count amounts but I will update the original announcement sticky thread regarding those and the amounts you need as well. As you can see the stars have been removed for now. I look forward to adding it shortly. Thank you.

      It's now been added. I'm basing it soley on posts. I will update the sticky thread momentarily. I've made the intervals 100 posts and their basically all the same. The total you need is 2,000. Only difference is the first bit only takes 50 posts and the last takes 150 instead of 100 (to complete). Will update the thread shortly.

          Is it the green bar at the bottom of the mini-profiles to the left of our posts?

            Yes that's exactly what it is. Just a neat addition I thought I'd add. It's based on post count. I thought it would be nice when some of us reach the final one as it turns gold. There's another version of it that's not animated but has light colors that go to redish colors towards the end. If people get annoyed by the animation I will add that one instead. So far no complaints there.

              I think the animated one is fine. It gives this idea that it is progressing.

              It must be quite the goal to make it all the way to gold, but sounds like a pretty nice "bragging rights" thing to have in your profile for those that get it, since it'd mean that they have put a lot of time and effort into the community.

                It's not too hard. You need 2,000 posts to make so it's not easy but I guess it would be sort of worth it once the community is much more active. I believe if we get some users who already have it posting, it may get other members to want to follow suit with getting theirs up there. Regardless I thought it was a neat idea.

                  I used to be all for title/rank ladders, but in some cases I think they have an opposite effect to what was desired. Just something to be aware of, which I'm sure you'll monitor over the coming weeks/months.

                  In regards to the animation, I think it is subtle enough that it blends in to the design nicely.
