  • New add-on style-chooser/light switch made by me, added

Hey guys. I recently just added a new feature to the site. We have 5 light and 5 dark styles but had no easy way for users to view them nor did we have an easy way to switch to dark styles.

Now I've created this add-on myself. Notice the style chooser in the sub-navigation. Simply click any of the preview boxes to view the alternating colors.

As for the light bulb, clicking it will change the style to the corresponding dark style based on what style your viewing. So no matter what style your on you can view the dark style anytime by clicking the light bulb. It even changes colors and lights up yellow. Simply click it back to change back to the current style. Let me know what you think

I’m looking forward to the add-ons created by you, for this site. I have loads of ideas that you don’t like

Same here I'm also excited to make them. By the way, you may have noticed the light switch disappears when logging in. I already fixed that for the 2.1 version and will re-work it this afternoon for 2.0.x that the site is currently on.

Style chooser has been disabled for users logged out but I have kept the light bulb active to switch the the default dark style. It's how I want it mostly. I'd rather users logged out not be able to switch styles right on except for the opposite dark style. Thank you

Hi! just to point out that this addon is great.

Only issue might be that if you are using a Darked theme, you switch it to the light one by default. Might be a good idea to have to choose only a "Dark" or "Light".

Yes I know what you mean. But I made it so that each of the 5 styles can be switched to dark and vice versa. Since the styles so easy to click to change and people might get confused if they click on a style while in dark mode and it's not the same as it always was. I sort of see dark mode as an unofficial optional style. To keep it 100 professional the light styles should be the main ones on the chooser IMO.
