    Free hosted forums

    I knew about wordpress free blog in 2011. I even created a free blog with wordpress back then. However, I knew nothing about free hosted forums until 2021. Proboards is one of the most popular platforms for creating free forums. Forumotion is another popular platform for hosting free forums.

    I have used free forums as a user but never been an admin on any free forums.

    I've used a free forum service using phpBB for a short time.  It is a new one that was coming out of the ForumPromotion.net scene.   Anyway, i can see why people would want a well-functioning forum they don't have to pay for, even at the expense of having the services' ads forced on them.   Well, the upside is getting fast hosting.  Well, that should be the deal considering all the ads.   Also, I'm sure you get, at the least, a support forum which answers most questions anyone could come up with.

      I never tried the free forum software, I've heard several options of the free forum softwares especially the options mentioned here. I visited forumotion coincidentally without knowing it's a free forum.
