    Besides drugs, what are some of the worst addictions one can get?

    For me, porn is probably one of the worst, if not the worst.

    Gambling can be a huge addiction. Especially in Las Vegas, Nevada. Many people blow their entire life savings and are left with not a penny. Some end up homeless and in debt for almost their entire life. It's a terrible thing and quite sad.

      Videogame addiction. People tend to skip school for it.. (like myself for a couple of years)

        I got free of that addiction for 2 years. All I play is CoD (Cyber Attack past year and now)

          As soon as I read the thread title, gambling came to mind - but 1@TopSilver[/USER] has already mentioned that.. I've never been addicted to it, but I can definitely see how it can be addicting - high stakes, high reward.

          Alcohol is extremely addicting too, although technically speaking that's a drug.

            Anything can become an addiction if it takes over your life. So this is really a hard question to answer. I will agree tho on porn, gambling, alcohol. Will add in food, the need to be perfect.

                  While i am not disagreeing that porn is one of the worst, I'd like to state another one while I'm here. I think Alcohol addiction is just as bad, if not, worse than having a pornographic attachment. Alcohol can not only destroy your life, but it can lead to being put in Hospital, or worse, death.

                    I agree, alcohol can be a huge addiction. It destroys many lives. Some people get hooked on Wine which is really one of the biggest forms of alcohol addiction. They may not drink anything else but they gorge themselves on it and think it's okay just because it's not beer or liquor. Many people go through this phase and then even then it leads to liquor and beer. But being a wino is also a huge addiction too.

                      Alex, you said nice things. Alcohol is worst than pornography. I'm not even addicted to any of them, i only drink little alcohol occasionally and not often.

                          I agree with you porn addiction is just corrupting, like it really gets you down with lower self-esteem thing. It's horrible honestly. Hope we all can stay safe from porn addiction.

                            There are so many bad addictions. Porn, sex, gambling, alcohol, and drugs are the worst that come to my mind but things like thrill seeking ie racing, cliff diving, or excessive interest in reckless activities can be juts as bad.

                              I know food addiction has been mentioned before but a more specific one related to that which affects me is a sugar addiction. Just one of those things that I can never seem to get out of my life or reduce a decent amount unlike so many other things I was once addicted to. Ah well, eventually I'll have to since diabetes runs in the family
